What is a full-stack developer, and how do they differ from front-end and back-end?

In this video we cover the full-stack developer and how the role differs from front-end and back-end. A full-stack developer needs knowledge and skills on both sides, but being an expert in everything at once is all but impossible. Full-stack developers usually come from back-end and pick up front-end over time, or the other way round. Companies hiring for full-stack roles typically expect depth in one side and a working understanding of the other. In practice almost nobody has a perfect command of both, so full-stack vacancies really describe a combination of skills and experience.
