Vera was born in the USSR and grew up in California, in Berkeley, where she took her first degree. A love of learning became part of her character: today Vera holds six American degrees, in:

• cognitive psychology

• film
• UX Design of AI Products (specialising in conversational interfaces)

She has taught UX Design at the University of California, Berkeley, worked on digital products and always stayed at the centre of technological change.

A new stage: Machine Learning

Alongside this she is studying the generative AI market and moving towards a new profession — AI Product Manager. "The world is changing fast, and I want not merely to keep up but to look ahead," Vera says.
