What the lessons cover:

  • Get closer to the subject of machine learning, artificial intelligence and neural networks
  • Get to grips with the programming languages AI and neural networks are written in
  • Learn who machine learning engineers are, what they do and what they earn in the USA
  • Take a step towards a career in IT and learn how to start from scratch and get a job after IT courses

These lessons suit both beginners meeting the fundamentals of machine learning for the first time and those with a basic understanding who want to go deeper.

Schedule of the open lessons

July 25 (Thursday), 6 pm PDT / 9 pm EDT — Python: the universal language for machine learning and a leader in programming
Why is Python so popular? Where is it used and how much demand is there on the IT market? What are its advantages and why is it the language of choice for machine learning?

July 26 (Friday), 6 pm PDT / 9 pm EDT — What do data science, machine learning and deep learning mean? And where does AI fit in?
We make sense of the concepts and their fields of application: how these technologies relate to one another and where they are used in the real world. We discuss the role of AI and its effect on the development of these fields.

July 27 (Saturday), 1 pm PDT / 4 pm EDT — Who a Machine Learning engineer is and what they do. The ML engineer’s roadmap
We explain who a machine learning engineer is, which skills and knowledge a career needs, how to become one and where to begin. We also look at salaries and demand on the US IT market.
