3. AWS Cloud console and CLI Ops practices
3.1 Basics: CloudPractitioner - video course prep to certification, Networking basics, Advanced CLI Ops practices
3.2 Advance: Build CloudBuild Pipeline for the JS project
Module 2 – CI/CD Pipeline
1. Jenkins
1.1 Basics: install and setup. Simple Job setup, pipeline
Module 3 – Docker
1. Basics: what is Docker, why you need it.
2. Advance: Build app image, launch app in local virtual env.
Module 4 – Working with Kubernetes
1. Basics: what is Kubernetes, why you need it, why K8s is a Docker on steroids
2. Advanced: Best Practices, additional functionality, minikube (local development tool)
Module 5 – Databases
1. SQL DB’s from the DevOps point of view
2. NoSQL DB’s (Mongo) from the DevOps point of view
3. Caching layers (Redis, Memcache) how it can impact app performance and make it 100x faster.
Module 6 – Metrics and Monitoring
1. Basics: Budgeting, CloudMetrics, CloudWatch, Basics of Grafana, Basics of Prometheus
Module 7 – Advanced Kubernetes
1. Full PASV project in K8s locally on minikube, and remote launch in the AWS cloud
