This example assumes that drupal/core-recommended and drupal/core-composer-scaffold are the only Drupal core dependencies in composer.json.

modules to be activated which are core modules. If you don't have them enabled, this module doesn't make any sense for you ;)

To allow translations of nodes you have to enable the Content translation module (included in Drupal core). To use it to any effect you must also have more than one language available on your site.
